A slice of tree life sets off this functional serving board set. Set consist of a beautiful bias sliced wood board that accentuates the growth rings of a large branch finished in food safe clear oil. Two slumped glass sauce bowls, one each, green and blue, with a hand forged stainless steel cheese knife of the Haussmann brand. The cheese knife is functional as the rounded side is sharpened to go through soft or hard cheeses. Use as a cheese cutting board or serving platter with caviar or sauce bowls on the side

 Variations

Since items are natural products, some variations may occur, which make them unique. Depending on the country of origin of a tree, the heart wood color ranges from light reddish beige to dark reddish browns (sometimes with black swirls). Due to humidity, the wood ages and some small cracks appear in the grain over time depending on where you live. It's a little piece of life transported straight into your home. Direct sunlight can cause more checking on the ends (cracking), but simply rub in a wood preservative or wax to seal again and enjoy the beauty of one-of-a-kind piece!
