Why Teak Furniture is a Good Choice

Aside from the natural beauty of teak wood products, there are some very good reasons that teak is a great choice as furniture and or home decor items.
Teak wood has amazing durability and can be used indoors or outdoors in extreme weather. It is common that a teak table or bench can last 70 years left standing in the elements.
Today most teak is plantation grown teak or reclaimed teak which saves old growth trees, making today's available teak sustainable and environmentally friendly.
For outdoor patio use such as benches or sun loungers teak does not get burning hot in the sun in the way metal does, making it a safer product.
For indoor use teak is by far the best wood for bath, spa or shower areas as it is far superior to any other wood concerning water resistance.
